This painting is about bonding: with people, with family, with nature and with yourself. In a child's earliest years, they and their mother are inseparable, their minds and souls united. In nature, my characters find a renewal of life, a fullness they carry back into their daily routines.
No matter where they go, their hearts are filled with peace and happiness, the fullness and completeness of nature.
This work also speaks to the importance of tending to our inner child and savoring the simple act of living.
